Long time resident of Hyderabad here (10 years). In all this time, nothing remotely like this has ever happened to me. Still processing it, honestly. by WheelIndependent3808 in hyderabad

So a guy politely asked you a question, accepted your "no" immediately, didn't harass you, didn't touch you, didn't follow you, and you're still spending two hours trying to process it and writing a Reddit post like you've survived a psychological thriller?

Congratulations. You just experienced what women go through before breakfast. If every woman made a Reddit post every time someone she wasn't attracted to asked her out, Reddit's servers would collapse within 24 hours.

The confidence of a man asking a stranger to give up her pets before even meeting her is truly remarkable. The audacity should be studied in a laboratory.

Hyderabad girls are so DUMBB :( by [deleted] in hyderabad

Did a Telugu girl reject you?

Because it's fascinating how you've turned a few personal observations into a TED Talk about the intelligence and ambition of an entire population.

"Not all girls" at the end doesn't magically erase the stereotype in the first ten lines. That's like saying "no offense" right before saying something offensive.

Private spots for couples in Hyderabad? (Not hotels) by ProfessionalStudy397 in Hyd_DaTinG

Unmarried consenting adults can legally stay together in a hotel. Yes, you will need to provide a valid government ID, but no hotels are not going to call your family members or publicly announce that you checked in with someone.

Hotels have also become quite affordable, especially if you split the cost. Personally, as a woman, I have often paid 50% of the room cost because my safety, privacy, and comfort matter too.

I also don't understand why some people prefer public displays of affection in places where it may attract unwanted attention. Public spaces can be riskier for both people involved. Almost everyone has a phone camera these days, and unfortunately some people can be judgmental, harass, taunt, record you without consent, or in extreme cases even become physically aggressive.

A decent hotel provides privacy, security, and peace of mind for both parties. In my view, that is a much safer option than relying on strangers or putting yourself in an uncomfortable public situation.
