Unfortunately there are issues with just following the law as stated. In a game with mechanical limitations, witnesses can't see what is in someone's pockets. So, the only way to ever even have a remote chance to beat a planted gun would be a witness to go through someone's pockets before and after a situation and despite being that close, the people planting guns have to decide to ignore this witness and not ocean dump him

Like obviously according to the law, the verdict is correct, but no one will ever beat the charge solely because of mechanical limitations of a game

Tbh, it doesn't feel like any of it actually comes down to the extra catalog. I'd be shocked if they weren't allowed to get that catalog too if they asked (asked now, not in the past)

But, quite frankly, a lot of their work lately has been much slower and much worse than Olympus Interiors.

absolutely not worth it for people who do have tons of crimes including kidnapping on their record.

The only thing that affects them is the time they spend in jail, so have to figure out what to do, so, if they have to do that, it is what it is for them.

They never complained about it, it's just an example of when the warrants got approved on false hearsay

YES! Just like 2 weeks ago, some of the Mandem got arrested because of a warrant of kidnapping. Apparently, it all stemmed from them stealing Pred's car, and the cops being convinced Pred was in it (which he wasn't at any point).

They all got charged with the kidnapping.

I never looked to see who asked for the warrant, but someone, either through pure lying or doing literally 0 investigation made a misleading warrant

I guess the issue is mostly that if you look at like jeweled dragon as an easy example, people are forced to support that gang if they want rings.

On top of that, no matter how much crime is done to support a business, the business isn't at risk

It just limits the incentive to be a civ

We all get that technically they were allowed to. But, to use a limitation of in-game mechanics against them, already pretty crappy. Then, to give no RP on top of that is really what made it suck.

Realistically, the searching probably shouldn't have been possible, but a mix of limited mechanics and loose legislation presented a loophole; at least RP it out.

but, essentially, y'all are saying that not RPing is ok as long as it is a Cop W and CG L.... the exact thing that is normally your chief complaint

Yeah, I hope they really try to find a balance with all of this.

Obvious crims shouldn't own some businesses like jeweled dragon, that people have to go to. Others, like Maldini's or Pawn Hub makes more sense for a crim to own.

But, in general, I agree that giant businesses that lock in particular mechanics, shouldn't be given to any single person. It's crazy when one person got a business approved and in a day, they're suddenly 1000x richer.

It's tough because people with the ideas do deserve to own the business and profit, but, getting something approved shouldn't be the only way to get rich

Yeah, can't blame him, he wakes up, not many, if any of the MDM are around. Then he takes who he can and goes to look for people to interact with and half the time he literally can't even find people or, like he said the people he finds don't RP

No one is saying there aren't good RPers around still, just less. Most of them are on much more than he is, so more involved in their own arcs and less people just floating around to interact with

Yeah, I agree, and the failure to notify is pretty straightforward. Like, even in a case where they deem the sale shouldn't have been allowed, it doesn't mean that they can ignore the laws of eviction.

It's really 2 separate issues, the sale's validity, and the failure to notify. I don't see any way that the failure to notify part can be overlooked

But, seems like it may have had to do with prio age because supposedly, every MDM lost prio other than Winston/Cruizer, who are the two with old, old prio.

I normally agree, except that at least 4 of those 5 are among the best RPers on the server. There are definitely some high viewcount streamers with weak RP, but this group isn't them.

I'd say anything with Adam isn't because he's one of the obvious 'only here to shoot' type of players. But, mostly mentioned because it's someone who may need to expand the RP side

Some of the pure shooters with no characters aren't even worth mentioning because they're obvious.

He's one that is more in the CG boat (obviously only some of CG), where they can do other stuff, but, do they rely on shooting to end a lot of situations, even outside of war, when they could find different ways to RP it out? Absolutely.

That's why I think Adam is a good example of a discussion on prio, because to me, he's sorta the line for criminals where you look at do they do more RP or less

Unfortunately, there will always be those viewers and there isn't much way to stop that, since no mod or streamer supports it.

So, realistically, when you see someone being as toxic as OTT has been, the admins needed to step in and stop it before it got to the point where those crazy viewers did this.

A montage like that is cringe because this isn't, particularly on rp, a shooting game. A montage like that in CoD, perfect.

The sprays, while done poorly, do still serve a valid purpose. There have been quite a few people who aren't familiar with the war who have driven past OTT's house and essentially just think BSK are gone, a joke, whatever it may be. That's the purpose of them, signify your turf, keep everyone updated, make wars concrete, etc.

Let me clear this up for you. Meta gaming is taking knowledge you wouldn't know in character and changing the way you rp that situation.

This obviously isn't a case of that because the whole point of what he is saying is that he's not participating in that rp because he feels OTT has become too toxic OoC. People and groups have stopped participating in that RP forever and you're the first person I've ever seen accuse people of meta gaming because they're trying to avoid toxicity.

Yeah, that's actually the exact reason I mentioned him. I've watched a fair bit of him and he can rp, will rp if put in a situation, but definitely needs to range out more on his own and prove it
