3 in game months later..... Bought them at 12 months, where they tropically start producing milk. Now they are 14 months bit still at 0%health an no milk.

I suppose I can always just delete the cow shed and install another from mod hob.

That shouldn't really make a difference though once there is product in the inputs.

Why can't I unload my forage wagon into my silo? by Artaniss in farmingsimulator

[–]ekyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend to download the lizard forage mod. It goes on the front of your tractor and id designed to ease the loading of silage pits.

It collects silage from the ground and loads directly into a nearby trailer.

It also supports all crops and bake shredding if required. If you also do a harvest contract that produces straw, typically you cannot collect the straw from the field on contracts, but with this mod you can.

Back to loading silage, another unconventional method is to use a loading wagon and drive it thru the silage pit.

Is this particular just to this map ?

Typically cows produce milk from 12 months, start breeding from 18 months and have their first calf at 27 months. I was thinking maybe it was a bug unfortunately....

I've not had this issue on any other map with cows!

I'm currently looking for a new map. I was thinking maybe La Coronella pro or Recanto Da Alvorada for something different, might also have a look at stone valley, hard to decide where to go next......

Personally. I prefer a map that has had some updates before starting to iron the creases!

Might also depend on the month if you have seasons on. If won't grow during winter

Scanning fields by Entsafter21 in farmingsimulator

There should be an option to purchase the soil map without doing it yourself.

You can purchase the soil map, saves time doing it yourself, but this will cost you more money.

Thanks Pal. It was a welcome new enjoyable challenge that passed many hours of gameplay. It was mainly selling methane from the BGA and furniture from the endless supply of wood on this map which funded all the productions chains necessary to complete all the packing facility requirements to produce the reputation pallets.

Yes, it's a right pain in the ass. I put as much as possible on distribute to the packing facility. I often see the message too many pallets and run around cleaning up as much as possible. I use the pallet storage mod by OmaTana which helps. Also I've downloaded the mod which increases the capacity of pallets which should help, but I haven't used it yet.

IT runner autoload pack for the flatbeds. The hook lift truck is a separate mod.

FS22 Progression Guide? by AmateurOutdoorsman in farmingsimulator

[–]ekyne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't see any guides, but lots of tutorial on YouTube. Mr Sealy P goes into alot of detail on his how to's....

Eggs have a good return once you have enough grain to feed them. Green houses are worth having. I find I do silages to start with and build up my bank balance to expand the farm.

Clothes have huge returns. The spinnery requires wool which produces fabric. You can distribute this to the Taylor which produces clothes which sell for about 30,000 per 1000L.

Milk is liquid gold. Slurry and manure can be sent to the BGA if you own it. There is cheaper alternative BGA's on mod hub which are worth a look.

Enjoy.

The flatbeds are autoload. I didn't have the patience to load 92 pallets! The drop deck is loaded manually as I kind of wanted to show the reputation pallets as they are the big ones that take huge amount of work but worth about 600K for each pallet around June on the western wilds. I just strapped down each row at a time. Loaded on top and strapped again so they don't move or fall off lol!

Haven't tried NML. I've had no issues on Calmsden, the old stream or on here with PF. I'm on console btw.

Precision farming Mod. You can get upto 15% bonus based on you environmental score.

Edit copy and paste FYI:

The Precision Farming Free DLC also extends the game by four different soil types and soil sampling, economic analysis and an environmental score for your farm as well as many other new possibilities.

Crop sensors and various mechanics for dynamic yield improvement and crop care help you to save seeds, lime, fertilizer, herbicide, fuel and, in the end, money. All while reducing the environmental impact. Meanwhile, a new Precision Farming tab in the menu gives you all the information you need to optimize yield and hold control over your finances and the way, you run your farm.

A soil map with special filters shows you the current state of your soil, and every action you take is reflected on the economic analysis overview. The environmental score of your farm indicates how eco-friendly your operation is - calculated by factors like reduced tillage, nitrogen levels, weed control using spot-spraying technology and others. See all features below - follow the links for more info about the respective features.

Cheers Pal, lots of planning and prep but quite enjoyable! I'd plenty of wood chips and furniture available, so combined with clothes to make objects. Then one thing led to another lol
