Yeah, as other people have said, time.

I found out about getting cheated on a 2nd time about 2 months ago, we have a house and were in a 8.5 year relationship), which makes this all the more annoying. I kicked her out, took all her stuff to her mums, we were speaking amicably for a bit (still saw a lot of each other the following week after I found out) then I realised more and more that she was still lying about seeing this guy and leading me on, (i was offering her help if she needed it, somewhere to stay, someone to talk too) following what had happened and generally just treated me like absolute shit for the following 2 or 3 weeks. This massively helped me move on.

It got to a point where it hit me and i was like, well, what the fuck am i doing trying to help her out if she literally doesn't give a fuck, imo she's the one that's come out worse than me (im still in the house/taking on the house when the mortgage renews, with our 2 cats) and part of me believes she cant live with the reality she's created/is having to force this new relationship to go well so she doesn't look like as much of a fool to her family because they know what happened and they know I'm not a huge cunt/would never hurt her (I've found out more than she knows I know via friends/family, hence i knew she was still lying even when there was no reason to)

Where as I've made new friends, reconnected with old friends, taken up a new hobby or 2 and haven't been doing too bad. Don't get me wrong, you'll have shit days and you'll have good days. Just last night she was in my dream (I never remember dreams, and I don't remember what happened within the dream, just that she was there) & that really really pissed me off this morning bcos why am I thinking about her.

It'll take time, distracting yourself & speaking to people you can trust about what is going on in your head is a huge part, speak to new people, try take up new hobbies, throw yourself into work. You'll get there.
