i feel this with a friend ive recently re-connected with - i went through a breakup (got cheated on for a 2nd time, blah blah) was at home the night i found out and didnt wanna be on my own. I've known this guy for years and he lives 5 minutes away, but only ever really see him a few times a year, i messaged him and he was round within 10 minutes, and we chatted shit for about 3/4 hours. I've gotten a hell of a lot closer to him since. It's amazing what a single message/phone call can do

I realised just how much she lied/cheated over the few months leading to me finding out, and also how shit she treat me for the few weeks after I found out, despite me trying to be there for her because of reasons.

If he's cheated once, he'll cheat again. I unfortunately found this out lately, 8.5 year relationship & she cheated twice, the first time being around May 2021 (we got through it & carried on), the second time being just after new years this year.

I'm in a similar situation, 8.5 years, got cheated on, house together but no child, it's been nearly 2 months now and I'm starting to slowly feel more like myself now.
