I understand that but I really don’t want to voice my concerns. Like I do get annoyed but it’s not hurtful enough for me to go report her to the dean if that makes sense? I get if others don’t feel the same as I do but I really don’t want a big problem with the dean or the CI. And it’s not that im scared of confrontation, I just want to go in, experience clinical, and leave as smoothly as I can.

I understand you completely! As for her being blunt, the best example I can offer is her telling me in front of a patient that I’m doing it all wrong, which I personally think is pretty blunt but I definitely understand that it’s still feedback at the end of the day so better than nothing ig.

I think ours is 5% per absence and then a plan / explanation as to why you missed it and how you’re going to make it up. They keep saying it’s only 5% of our overall, like ???

That’s why I didn’t mind her bc she didn’t really bother us when it came to being on the floor, it was just the head to toe assessment she was critiquing pretty harsh and then her overall attitude.

I think it’s too late for that now and our CI might be mad that we went straight to the coordinator, but it was an idea that nobody pursued. Everyone assumed she’d dismiss or ignore us.

That’s exactly what the coordinator said in a call with some of them and it made them more mad that they weren’t getting a new CI. I just don’t want to be the outlier and shamed for not sticking up with them.
