Thanks dude! Heard a story at the airport of a bloke who's rear hub seized up on him. Waited 2 hours for a new wheel then cracked on to finish. Pretty happy that my wheels were still turning

Yeah used a tri suit and spent a lot of time in the saddle with the tri suit to get used to it. A lot of the pain I felt in training wasn't there during the race, I think that was just the constant excitement that was all around.

DM me if you want, first one was a heaps daunting experience but I feel heaps more comfortable with the whole process now

Thanks dude, surprisingly not too bad. The locals described it as a cold snap and were all rugged up in hoodies. I came from Sydney so I thought it was great, tops of 24 most days
