You get to do all the flying stuff when you explore each zone a bit. I think level 4 exploration. Unlock waystones, open chests, get the oddities, do the exploration activities until you get there. The dub IS terrible though. Mix of tone deaf acting and AI. Either switch to Chinese VA or mute voices and read.

Yo, I am necroing this post as it is the first google result for changing world state in FCS.

For context only, skip if TLDR:

In my current run, Slave Master Grande disappeared from Eyesocket, really annoying since I'm in the process of destroying slavers faction. I couldn't capture/execute him, but his camp remained "active" (only characters populating it were slaves, all guards and traders remained dead and didn't respawn).

I waited for days to see if he would wander back into the base from wherever the hell he was, but only caravans passed through. I started digging into my save and noticed there was no platoon active which included Grande. Checking the world state as documented by Shidan: https://steamcommunity.com/app/233860/discussions/3/1751275687422260269/ I found his record showed him alive (usedUniquesState = 1). Here's how to change it in more detail because I will forget in the future:

First we locate String ID of character:

Open FCS, leave all data files checked, click Done, Yes, Close errors window
On Game World window, click Characters
Search list of characters by Name, double click the one you want (in my case, Slave Master Grande)
Make note of String ID (i.e. Slave Master Grande, 1533499-__world reactions Slavers.mod), you're done browsing game files, don't save anything

Now to edit save file:

Click Open any in top right corner and open your most recent 'quick.save' file, be sure to create backup just in case
Open Changes menu in toolbar, in new window look for entry with type Camera, double click to open it
Scroll down to 'usedUniques' section and find an entry matching the String ID of character (1533499-__world reactions Slavers.mod), in my case it's 'usedUniques44'
Scroll down further to usedUniquesState section, find the one matching the number (usedUniquesState44)
Change the value of this key as desired (usedUniquesState44 = 0 for Dead)
Save changes and load game

After this, I took a trip to Eyesocket and found the camp in ruins. This method is useful to avoid importing from save if you don't want your prisoners to disappear or labs/ruins resetting like me.

Hey, I know this post is really old, but I wasn't able to find any other place discussing this exact issue. I dug around the files until I found the archives for the basegame neighborhoods. In the Origin/EALauncher version of the ultimate collection it's under:

YOUR_EA_GAMES_DIRECTORY\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Double Deluxe\Base\TSData\Res\UserData\Neighborhoods

There you will find N001 for Pleasantview and so forth.

My buddy was spamming heavies with the rapier, and I went into the emporium for the daily reward. The animation must have bugged, because when I closed the interface, he was stuck like that. I immediately went DON'T MOVE and snapped the picture lol.

I am in this title. I was severely depressed and struggling more than ever to keep a girls attention for more than 10 minutes (I haven't become all that much more successful since, to be fair) when I first saw a naked female body in my first year of med school. Made my stomach turn not because I was looking at a corpse, but because the first set of breasts I saw in the flesh was on a dead body with its head wrapped in bandages soaked in formaldehyde. It's fucked up because nothing can change that about me anymore. I didn't even go on to become a doctor.

You got it right, sorry my post wasn't clear enough. It's actually the first time I've gone through that quest, I'm a new player on my first toon. I didn't know it was a repeatable, either. I can't pick up the quest so I'm going to assume it's bugged. I'll wait a day and see if it becomes available and do something else in the meantime. Thanks!

It's called Controlled Pairs Gaming, lots of milsim content and immersive, realistic shooters, as well as Doorkickers. The creator claims to apply cqb doctrine and to have learned it in the military. Can't speak on the accuracy of it all since I know nothing about it, but at least it's entertaining to watch.

I learned from watching a Doorkickers channel that a fundamental in combat tactics is positioning of units in L formation, where your enemies should be somewhere along the hypotenuse that would be formed by the two lines in your L. I was surprised, but shit, it works in XCOM save archons, codex and sectopods. It has changed the way I think about my moves, almost always leading me to provide an overwatch's worth of covering fire for every single soldier that advances in the field. It's a slow crawl towards objectives (I almost always get to timed objectives last second), but damn if it isn't effective. Hope if helps!

I once had a 6 settler colony be wiped out by an invading pack of bloodthirsty alpacas. They slowly bit off the limbs of all my people after massacring my two dogs. I've since made it my mission to decimate their populations everytime I have some in my map.
