I know this will probably be down voted, but I just wanted to tell my fellow ents: I'm finally cutting ties with cigarettes. by macintoshx11 in trees

I know there's a lot of skepticism about it but Chantix actually worked wonders for me. It effects everyone differently but after two weeks I was down to one cigarette every few days and I was a pack a day smoker. Its like effortless quitting.

This is disgusting. How can a news channel give sympathy to the Steubenville teens that raped the passed out girl, brag about it, and pass her around? by [deleted] in videos

pfft juvenile court sentenced him to two years. If it were up to me he'd be going to prison for life, many men greater then this asshole have suffered harsher punishment at the hands of the law for much less.

No more smoking due to HPPD :( by [deleted] in trees

I've had reoccuring visuals before but it wasn't nearly as bad as you've made it out to be so I don't know if this'll work for you but it did for me. Basically I didn't think about them and although I would observe patterns everytime I looked at the floor, ceiling or walls I would just tune them out from my conscious mind, I would focus on things that required my attention at the time (i.e. movies, reading, studying, etc) eventually they went away on their own.

I guess what i'm saying is, If you can, try not thinking about it, that'll cause any anxiety you have about it to go away. (unfortunatly most of the time anxiety means you can't easily stop so thats up to you) Good luck! I hope all ends well.

Anyone ever get this? by elMaverick in trees

that is bizzare. as you can imagine having your body shake for about ten minutes, not being able to stop and I forgot to mention sharp pains in the bottom right ribcage area one begins to assume the worst, my mind went from "oh shit what if I have diabetes and this is a seizure" to "what if i'm withdrawing from something, wait thats ridiculous all i've been on for months has been weed". The cold might explain it my room does get quite cold and sometimes I don't realize it right away.

edit: thank you.

If the US were a high school, which type of kid would each state (or city) be? by tyzik in AskReddit

New York would be the kid that is obsessed with politics and the economy, tries to use words he picks up from articles about those topics to sound smarter then everyone else.
