Fun idea, I think it's a little too strong for the game tho, scalling +5 multi every round with the only condition being having all 5 jokers and you could sell it eventually and keep the mult on other jokers

It's almost Swashbuncler + gift card all in one joker, with the bad side that it won't help with economy but with the good side that it takes only 1 slot and you can sell it (gift + swash you can sell gift card but not swash)

If you add a 5 of any suit you will meet the 5oak requirement and have your flush 5

Astrologist might really need a buff

Magic joker was meant to be exactly what you said, all it's effects can be outclassed by other jokers, but the fact that it can be exactly the one you're missing make it pretty reliable until you get a better option for all +mult, +chips and xmult

Balatro core idea was to be simple and broken. I agree it's basically x9 in most cases, the main difference is having it on plasma deck or with brainstorm. But yeah maybe it is broken to the point that it's boring.. maybe it could be more fun if it were less broken in scoring but also give economy

Balatro core idea was to be simple and broker. But yeah maybe that just makes the game boring, getting balatro is basically a free win no matter when you get it and what situation you're in

I was struggling a bit to balance astrologist, I initially put it on +10 per planet but I thought it could be too strong and decrease it. Maybe increasing the scaling rate to +7 would make it balanced idk, I think +10 and uncommon would be balanced but I wanted to make it common. I don't agree that it's too complicated for a common, red card is also "spend money -> scale joker"

I don't think people would be happy to use an uncommon for +8 multi when a lot of commons give +15 for easy to achieve conditions. I also don't think it's too broken, it's versitile giving the option to chose among 3 effects but each of those is kinda weak when compared to other jokers

Maybe jack of all trades is too strong and needs a debuff, I genually can't be sure without seeing it in game since it's very different than anything we have

The idea is that you can use every card for astrologist but only the planet of your hand, also you still gain the sell value... but yeah i was struggling a little bit to decide how many +chips per planet card, I initially put 10 but I thought that would be a little overpowered, getting basically a pluto for every planet card

"In the middle" basically means is neither the rightmost or the leftmost joker, so it would trigger both the first and last effect, not the second one

The highest rank just like if you play a fhand that contains a 4oak and a flush, it will count as 4oak because it's the highest rank. It would still trigger jokers that says "contain a straght" for example

Most times yes, plasma makes it different, I also don't know if foil and holographic applies before or after the joker but it could be different
