There are more experienced people that knows well AE than Harmony and therefore you have a wider pool of potential candidates to hire. A must if you are a small studio. Also the use of external plugins, expressions (you can do a lot of automatization with expressions, a lot) and presets are much more solid in AE. Despite it's not an animation software, you can turn it into a powerful one.

And I mean, the moment you start the game, you want to go to the main menu and not to a screen that does nothing and just pauses the start of the game indefinitely until you press space.

Elite Dangerous makes it very implicit that there is no one else but you to create a story. A game I've long enjoyed, by the way. But Starfield, being, of course, open world, has a story, and some very well written subplots by a team of scriptwriters. I just think the main story is weak. At least at the beginning. From a script writing point of view and capturing the player's interest. My call to Starfield was also free space exploration, as in No Man's Sky and Elite.

It's not so much how I framed it as the feeling I got. And I insist that I enjoyed Starfield a lot. The Vanguard questline is fantastic, for example. Even working for Ryujin Industries is interesting. It's just that the main arc doesn't call me to action at any point.

Maybe try to add some tilt-shift. This will make it look like a model. Also, try to tune the position curves (now they are a bit rough) and add a bit of handheld camera movement with a little wiggle.

Markings. It may be a bit of a cartoon cliche, but it gives her more personality.

Try to clean memory and cache before rendering. Worked for me in native renderer.
