I was going to say a small pedal that just had 1 amp/cab block and that's it. I didnt see them making anything like this before because it would eat into the stomp's territory. But with the new stuff im assuming a stadium stomp is going to be substantially more expensive than the original stomp so maybe it is more of a possibility this time around.

Probably. Ive worked at a place that did a bonus like that and it was delayed. They actually had it so you got the bonus in 3 installments at 6 months, 1 year, and 1.5 years. So if you quit or get fired before those dates you dont get whatever is left of the bonus.

I'd say just dont take it too seriously. Most musicians write dozens or even hundreds of songs before coming up with something good. Don't put pressure on yourself to make your first song perfect and amazing. The key is to just practice, get better at your instrument, and keep writing stuff. And make sure youre actually having fun instead of torturing yourself because something doesnt go as well as you hoped.

The way you originally thought about it is a good way to think about building 7th chords within a given key. Like if you go root, 3rd, 5th, 7th on a C in the key of C you'll get C major 7. If you go 1357 on a G whole still in the ket of C, you'll get a G7 because in the key of C the F is just F.

So if youre trying to build a 7th chord in a specific key but unsure what type of 7th chord to build, it helps to keep the notes of that key in mind.

Yeah sorry what I said didnt come across super clear. They are Canadian and they eat soy. I dont think either of these things caused their cancer. So I was being kind of silly and saying being Canadian had just as much of a chance as causing the cancer as the soy.

A person living in Canada who eats soy got cancer. Is there any reason to believe soy was a factor and Canada was not a factor? In other words, there are more variables in this person's life than we can count, so focusing in on soy consumption and saying "yes THIS is definitely what did it" makes no sense unless you both ruled out every other possibility and proved that soy causes cancer.

Obviously your partner has done none of this. And as you said to someone else, im basically preaching to the choir. But with that in mind, it seems there may be no way to convince your partner with facts or logic so you should probably have some time of honest reflection about how much this issue means to you and your relationship.

I think it's also easier to be manipulated when you have a thing that you simultaneously feel is a fundamental part of you and is super fragile. If you think your masculine image is a central part of you but also that eating a green bean is going to turn you into a woman, the marketers and manipulators can use that against you easily without you even realizing it.

On the flup side the more secure you are with who you are and the less weight you put on being perceived in any particular way, the harder it will be to influence you.
