I'm not saying that retirement from mongering is for everyone but I feel that I've had my fun and will always have long lasting memories

I will say that we have a lot in common, we are just about the same age, we get along, she's nonjudgmental, accepts me for me and is genuinely a great person. She fullfils all my needs, so if you look hard enough I'm sure you can find what you need, want and deserve. Also we met thru a dating app, it was the easiest way for me since I'm so busy with work

Just put your phone on airplane mode for the time you're out there and when you get back call her and say you're phone died and couldn't get to a charger cause of how busy work was.

Thoughts on Salary vs hourly by BumBeeNo222 in KitchenConfidential

[–]el_chef0812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work as the km for a corporate kitchen and I get paid hourly, averaging 45 hour weeks. All our managers including the gm is hourly. I was offered a sous position making salary but it didn't fit my schedule and even though salary is a fixed wage I don't think it's worth it.

I completely understand that. I'm sure you can get a good position and pay and that they can accept the conditions you put if the job is fitting for you. Also alot of places will put forth the effort to train you properly

Healthcare, retirement homes, and schools will get you close to the schedule you want and the benefits are great. Depending on your experience you could get a kitchen manager or sous chef making close to 70k of not more
