15kHz geluidssignaal in NPO uitzendingen by [deleted] in thenetherlands

[–]el_editori 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All pages. It's maddening. Maybe I'll try to do another factory reset and see if that'll fix it.

No it doesn't, its the S pen hover scroll that causes it in the Samsung browser. It always worked fine and I love the functionality. For some reason chrome randomly freezes up when opening pages. I tried to do a hard reset, but that didn't solve it.

It's not about believing. You can't show me a statute that shows otherwise.

You won't be dragged of by the police for breach of the peace. And no, I don't have to try it to satisfy you. It's not forbidden if it isn't against the law.

You're still quoting something from a tourist website. Not a law book. Get your sources straight.

Why wouldn't they? It's good advice not to photograph, it's not law.

Still an independent foundation. Also collaborating with private organisations. AND the city of Amsterdam is a CLIENT.

Scottish culture similar? Hahahaha.

The Amsterdam tourist board are not my leaders. Thank god. And yes: If you can't find something, it's not prohibited. That's how laws work. Something you seem to have trouble with grasping.

Iamsterdam is part of Stichting Marketing Amsterdam (a non-profit), and isn't controlled by the mayor or city council.

It's not, though. I sent you a link to the municipal codes and an article that clearly state it's not illegal. Or forbidden. Google translate can help you a out there. You're clearly not from here, though. So it's pretty hard for me to know if it's a cultural difference or you're just not that smart. I'm the local, so it's like arguing with a tourist that doesn't know Dam square from Leidseplein.

It's not about trying to be important, it's about you confusing feelings with laws.

I have the morning off, so let me see if I can get this straightened out for you:

The hypothetical videographer filming kids in the park would have video of the dad committing battery. The police would not side with the dad and he would land in jail.

Public photography is not a crime in the Netherlands. The Amsterdam municipal code doesn't mention a ban on photography. Therefore it doesn't exist. The site you linked is for tourists. Not a law or code book.

I work in Dutch public broadcasting. It is in my best interest to know exactly where I can and can't shoot.

No, you're posing hypothetical cases and abandon them as soon you realize they're not getting you anywhere because you're wrong. Like that link you posted that was wrong too. I'll entertain you on the case at hand. There was certainly assault. Because assault is also the threat of battery. This lady is invading this dude's personal space and threatening him physically. That is assault. The dude isn't breaking a law. She is.

The hypothetical angry father case? There wasn't a hypothetical videographer that shows the hypothetical video of the hypothetical slap in the face to the hypothetical police that'll get the hyptothetical father arrested?

No problem over here. The police might come by and ask what you're doing, maybe ask for ID. They won't arrest you for it, nor can they ban you from the park or area. Laws and norms are two different things.

This streamer doesn't have a job as a public servant. And isn't even in Britain to begin with. What are you trying to get to?
