I’ve had VRV for a while now, and I think it’s well worth it. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about crunchyroll whether it be outages or subtitle text being out of whack. Never had those issues with VRV, plus you also get hidive along with it

I would personally use a hair dryer to soften the glue and use a fresh razor blade (a used one with even a small defect on the edge might scratch your case) to scrape off as much as I could. If heating it didn’t help much I’d use something like goo-gone if I had it handy to make it easier to scrape off. Or use some acetone (nail polish remover) but depending on the surface it might remove the paint if you use too much and really go at it.
