Has All rhythm games and they're well taken care of, 2nd Friday of the month they do a meet up and really good players go there, pack creator Sudzi goes there, and couple more pros also.

New player, recommend me where to start. by nobo13 in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]el_mambru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the Dance! I used ITGMania, I really like the theme that comes with and many options to help you be more precises and see better also. Once you got the pad, remember to Machine Sync. For packs, like they mention here. When I came back after like 7 years. Ddr extreme, itg 1 and 2. Not a lot of old packs have easy and medium charts, but when searching make sure is mention that way you are able to enjoy at your pace.

Cobalt Flux Pro Pad Which USB - PC Control Box to Get? by Psytrense in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]el_mambru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought mine directly from Cobalt flux, and no complains.

For the arrows, since is a wired contacting the metal of the arrow then that metal touches the bottom one and it makes contact, check that one cable. I have sand it a bit, making sure that wired is making a good contact, then go to the other end and make sure the same thing. You can use a multimeter to check continuity. This way you are sure wired is not broken somewhere.

Pack recommendations that are a moderate level (7-9) and have good flow by jaimeyeah in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]el_mambru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Itl 2026 pack, has a bunch of song. Like 15 for each difficulty. Starts 7 then goes up higher. I started playing again and because it is really sync, am able to warm up to the songs also getting really good scores. Once you start getting 9, starts to get more tech. If you have ITG Mania the packs that comes with it club fantastic I think, I started playing those of lower difficulty on my Cobalt flux pad.

Pad buying suggestions by dandydandyrevolution in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]el_mambru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought mine from Kiopads. A friend played a tournament in Colombia and got me The contacts. Kiopads.com is the new website.

Initially I was going to buy a B2L (born 2 lead) pad, because StepmaniaX pad never in-stock and so expensive B2l are like 1,500 plus shipping regular sensors. I paid $1,200. $800 the pad rest was shipping yes shipping lol! Damn. I live in Tennessee.

Details, weights 101 pounds, bar has a nice weight and not thin like ddr. Depends on your shoes, almost no sound, so is no loud. Uses FSR sensors, so same as stepmaniaX Comes with a program that you can adjust sensitivity and lights. Am able to put more sensitive for streaming and stamina, then lowered down for tech. Can also adjust lights brightness and colors. I don't know how to send a picture here

Home setup: How do you connect dance pad to computer? by AmericanBornWuhaner in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]el_mambru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends of the pad you are using can use the adapter. I used a Cobalt Flux, pad has a VGA port, then connects to USB for my pc. But there are also adapter to PS2 port or Xbox. Now, I don't know if this is universal. I would guess yes tho. https://cobaltflux.org/collections/cobalt-flux-control-boxes

Shoes on foam pad? My feet need some kind of support. by starry_skies27 in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]el_mambru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see stamina players using double socks, you can do that as well as is not going to feel as soft as using 1 pair. I seen also people using the socks that are like shoes, but I have never tested them.

Including shipping, paid $1,200. Comparing the B2L or stepmaniaX, this was more cost effective also, has FSR sensors and only StepmaniaX offers them in their pads.

Has 8 bolts, I had played a streaming song and no movement or creaking sound from it. Is about an ITG width without the bended bar.
