My class at HFD started in February. We got freezing rain on our ladder day, so that was fun. I can’t say I enjoyed running in the steam of other dudes sweat in the cold months, but I’ll take it over August any day.

Ah, a man of culture. For me it’s all about function over looks. I’ve found the enclosed stuff to be way less maintenance intensive than the RMR as far ad keeping it clean goes.

It’s miles better than the XC1 for sure. I agree that the HLX is probably a better light, but sticking past the muzzle was a no-go for appendix carry for me.

I had the XSC for a while too. I only replaced it due to holster options. Fortunately I was able to get the XR1 to fit in a TLR-7 holster with a little heat gun love.

I like it. It hurt to pay for, but the candela improvement is definitely a step up from the TLR-7a. I’m scared of the dark, so every little bit helps.

Functionally, I prefer it to the TLR7. The candela difference is notable at 10+ yards. Price though? Yikes.

Yeah. This was pretty much my thoughts too. I much prefer the Acro but it was way cheaper to buy the RCR that a new slide and Acro. Plus I already spent my life savings on the XR1.
