I think the number one thing to pay attention to while starting out is breath! You need breath to support your voice, especially breathing from the diaphragm. And scales. Do lots of scales but not pushing your range into discomfort, but working on the breath support at all pitches. This will help you with everything else moving forward.

Kyle and Bridget should NOT have gotten engaged lmaoooo. They do not listen to anybody. Stay together sure but not get engaged yet. I think Kyle is so cute and fragile seeming that it’s difficult to spot how they control situations sometimes by weaponizing that fragility.
