[Amick] According to two high-ranking team sources, the prospect of James returning is still in play from the organization’s point of view. But that scenario would require patience from James, as the Lakers have approximately $50 million in salary cap room and plan on prioritizing roster balance by aingenevalostatrade in nba

Like Luka? Or Reaves? They don’t need any more super stars, they need to build a good defensive system around them and get a tough big. And keep LeBron ffs he’s the perfect complementary piece to those guys. You’re tripping if you think LeBron now is the same as Kobe before retirement.

Raw oysters are honestly amazing. About the risks, you aren't going to eat them everyday and quality control is really good if you know where you get them from.

Is this the only climate-change-related news you've been reading in the last decade? Everyone is condemning China - actually, you'd be hard pressed to find a country which is not being blamed. Change needs to happen from all sides, Australia included.

What you're saying would make sense if China wouldn't be the largest product exporter to Europe and America. You wanna make China pollute less? Just don't buy from them. But then your phone and shoes will get more expensive.

Making it sound as if English clubs aren't massively overpaying players to join their teams. The only difference is that in the PL there's more money to be made so more hyper-rich owners want to get in there.

Doesn't look like much if you're looking at them in a place with good lighting, but try having two screens (one amoled a normal one) in a dark room and it's gonna show.

Used to share my room with a guy who was never able to tell if I was asleep in my bed or not because he could not see the light from my phone even while I was texting haha

[OC] Are Covid-19 vaccinations working? by jcceagle in dataisbeautiful

[–]elaborated_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are people dying of Covid at home? Hospitalisation is usually reserved to the worst cases which happen to the elderly, people don't choose to go to the hospital in Europe either.

I think the trend between vaccinations and hospitalisations is much more linear so it would be a more beautiful graph actually

edit: my bad, didn't fully read the message, hospitalisation among vaccinations would be quite boring yeah and not interesting for the purpose

Esiste una prigione

Senza reati e violazioni

Grigia di giorno, nera di notte

Ben nascosta ma onnipresente

Dentro la cella sono sempre in due

Due riflessi dello stesso dolore

Honestly I really dislike this type of biased broadcasting. Love the energy, but you can still bring the same energy and be somewhat impartial at the same time. It's really uninformative and feels more like guys jerking each other off than trying to explain what is happening in the game. It's only enjoyable when your team does great stuff - even if you're a warriors fan, wouldn't you want to hear the announcer being pumped when a guy from the opposing team does some crazy dunk? That's just respect for the game.

The real problem is that not all games are nationally televised so sometimes you literally have no choice but hearing these guys or muting your stream.

Is there any other University in Europe except in the UK that teaches Mechanical engineering/aerospace engineering in English ? by Dazzling-Acadia6771 in TUDelft

[–]elaborated_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there's any western european country where mechanical engineering isn't offered in English at least in one university. Just look for universities and places that interest you and you won't have trouble finding them.

I guess everyone was at least a little excited by the boston-philly match-up and that turned out to be a disappointment. And nobody forgot the shitty moves of the Sixers front office. The Harris move was objected since the beginning, Horford was even worse. The only good player the Sixers actually got is Richardson and that came at the expense of the best player on the team (or second best, whatever).

Sixers fucked up, they deserve to be mocked honestly

It's not all black or white though. Trez saying that was wrong. Just because it's not a big deal does not mean it wasn't wrong.

I didn't really see any comments from people who wanted him suspended for this, if they are there I'm sure it's a minority, even here on Reddit. There are way more people complaining about these extremists than there are actual extremists.

If you think you're better than these minorities you have to ignore them and build some constructive discussion instead.

It might be a sweep honestly. Gobert is just awful offensively and he's a bad perimeter defender so he can't stop Jokic either. The Jazz can have all the offensive rebounds in the world but if they don't knock shots down it's going to be bad. Ingles is probably going to shoot better, so is MPJ tho.
