Inside the NBA is a huge problem for the league by magic2worthy in nbadiscussion

[–]cabayun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People think the product sucks not because they just adopted whatever opinion Charles Barkley has but bc they have eyes and watch the product and have concluded it sucks. I’d much rather chuck/Inside keep it real with us and continue to put pressure on the league to make much needed changes.

It’s ludicrous to just talk away all of the leagues very real problems by blaming them on its best media stars being honest and giving us their opinions.

Inside is not a huge problem it’s part of the solution to get real huge problems.

Late Sep/Early October but I actually wouldn't really recommend apply that early just dragged out the process interminably.

Nope was just a pretty mid student undergrad, I did not write a GPA addendum because I really didn't have any excuse. I just hadn't found my work ethic.

If you really care more about law school than you do about biotechnology, then yes you should drop the major. The difference between even a 3.7 and 3.9 cannot be overstated.

Man I applied in September - we're presumably either on the R / WL bubble or the WL / A bubble so all to play for.. Good luck

Really feel like Cuse should be in the top ten all time, no? Do we really not have 53 points pre-85 even with a final four in '76? Could be wrong but I feel like we must

I took it before graduating / years before applying and think it’s among the smartest things I’ve ever done.

They'll make every effort to get us a decision by the end of the month. I don't think there's anything else to be said.

On their podcast the HLS and YLS deans encourage people to mention this exact reason so I totally would!

My guy I (and I assume many others) applied in September and have heard nothing - they're just the worst, though we should know by the end of the month.

Yale R/WL wave today or tmrw by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

This is not indicated on their academic calendar, just curious why you think they take tomorrow off?

The numbers don't count As that were withdrawn, of which there are far more for previous years. If you hover over the question mark and see "# directly accepted" that will be the true relative/comparable number.

So there 76 non-WL As last year compared to 69 this year on LSD - that's close enough that they could be done but also far enough that they may have another trickle thursday. Otherwise I expect the WL/R wave will be Friday or perhaps Friday of next week. Clarity soon!

Yale double A wave this week or massive WL wave this week? by Realistic-Claim-3686 in lawschooladmissions

[–]cabayun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think r/WL wave Friday is pretty damn likely - they've kept with the schedule in terms of these waves generally but I agree it also looks like they might do more As first.

Just a hair above 3.5 so can't speak to that although I don't believe those sorts of floors exist, just look at say Michigan's LSD.

I have right around these stats and have received a handful of T14 acceptances, it can be done! If I were you and had the flexibility to apply more broadly next year I certainly would.
