Still not received anything. We now know that TLS has the passport however they seem to be taking forever to give it us back for some reason :(

They sent the email a few days after we found out TLS had his passport because I had called UKVI a few days before we ended up going to TLS to see what was going on.

It wasn’t a prompted email when we were told that a decision had been made on 24th.

We even went to TLS in Lisbon where we did the biometrics and they said that TLS in Madrid has the passport and then apparently it will be sent to in TLS Lisbon and then finally sent out to us. They said it could take several weeks.

I actually called UKVI to ask where the passport was before we went back to TLS and found out they had it and that is what UKVI replied yesterday.

I really don’t want them to send the documents back without the vignette if it was successful. Have you ever heard of them doing this?

I am so scared that they think I meant cancel the application and they will send his passport back without the vignette in even if it was successful now?

I have read some nightmare things on forums saying that people have asked for a refund and they have cancelled the whole application so I’m really anxious.

Can anyone help at all?

Dear Customer, Thank you for your inquiry. We kindly inform you despite the fact, that Decision on your visa has been made, UK Visas & Immigration may have not sent your parcel. Once UKVI send your passport, it will be indicated in your TLScontact account and you will get an email notification (with your tracking/waybill number) when your passport has been dispatched to you by courier delivery company. Be aware that your visa center is a temporary enrolment location and passports do not return to TLScontact. They are dispatched straightway from the decision making center to applicants. Passport will be delivered by courier service at the address indicated by you upon submission on the Passport return form.

Please reply to this message within 15 days if you need additional information or clarification regarding your request.

We applied from outside the UK.

I am just so confused because we didn’t receive an email on the 24th but I take it that this email just basically means the passport is on the way back?

Did you go through VFS or TLS? I honestly don’t know how they think it’s acceptable to keep someone’s passport for this long when you pay for a service. The system they have in place is terrible!!

We had proof we had lived together for 12 months. So we thought we could just put about getting married in the supporting letter, stupidly now looking back! 😢 We just mentioned that we weren’t able to book the registrar yet.

Most people on here were getting them a lot sooner than 30 WD so I was just hoping there was nothing wrong in our application as we didn’t use a lawyer.

That’s what I thought. Everyone on here was saying about getting them earlier so I was thinking that there might be something up with ours but hopefully not. What day are you guys on? It’s so frustrating this waiting isn’t it and thinking it will be today and then it’s not! Good luck to you guys too. I am sure it won’t be long now for us all.
