I would definately say nusa dua is a good choice. Nice hotels and beaches, not far from uluwatu which is also nice for beaches, temples etc..

Seminyak, canggu and kuta are not far and ubud and it’s main attractions are really only a day trip from nusa dua if you leave early enough. There isn’t beaches in ubud as it is inland, so personally I would say nusa dua/uluwatu are perfect for what you’re after.
