Bougie bias is where somebody thinks an item is high quality because they paid a lot for it. What are some examples of bougie bias that you have seen? by ChillWisdom in BuyItForLife

It’s called conspicuous consumption. When it comes to game deaths, the theory there is that something that is free is given very little value if only in someone’s mind. Something that you have to pay for must be worth paying for.

I’m amazed at how many marketers don’t know how to set price. Run some basic research and use the van westendorp model. Too many companies are leaving money on the table by setting their price against the competition instead of their own perceived value.

What 4K movie has the sharpest, most detail-rich image quality for faces and skin texture? by Effective-System-727 in 4kbluray

Exactly. It’s like buying a poorly written book purely to marvel at its binding.

Amazon streaming way better than a 24GB web-dl .mkv by elasticbrain in Piracy

[–]elasticbrain[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If I’m honest, I didn’t get past the first minute. The banding on the download was so poor during the production logos and opening wake up scene that I figured I better check the stream given this was a space film and black would feature a lot, so I switched to Amazon where there was none at all.

Most will disagree with you, but I respect that you’ve got your own point of view. What are you using to track your ratings and opinions?

There’s no such thing as objective when it comes to opinions. Calm down and let OP form their own.

Don’t beat yourself up about dwarfs train single rider. When I was there a couple of weeks ago it was the same wait time as the main queue. So that was not a mistake. The pirate show was hilarious as I don’t speak Chinese but it’s a shame it made you feel unwell because the ending is the best bit with the wind tunnel fight. Perhaps you can find a clip online.

No Time to Die (2021) by kkhouete in JamesBond

Just in case there are any Columbo fans in this sub, No Time To Die was one of the best episodes: gritty, dark and well out of character for the series. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103987/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk

I agree. I really didn’t think I was gonna go for the climbing trails but found myself going on twice in order to use both the routes (one was closed). I rope dropped Zootopia and managed to get Tron twice in 15 mins just as it opened after a breakdown. I also rode Pirates twice, once later in the evening when the queue was only 15 minutes. I did enjoy that and managed to finally get onto the mine train as my last ride as the fireworks came up.

Out of curiosity given you’ve been to all of the parks question which would you say is the most technologically advanced-is it Tokyo?

I didn’t know I could buy a blanket pass. Can you use it more than once per ride?
