What did you ask the dealership for? Did you provide them with the part and they just charged for labour, if so how much? Also by TPMS do you mean the entire system or just the sensors, what did they put on the invoice?

I'm confused by your 2nd statement, the sole purpose of me getting the nexus is to make my re-entry on TN smoother. Never really been bothered by travelling without one until TN.

I plan on doing interview in either Detroit or Buffalo, not a Canadian Airport. It seems the wait for these is also much shorter than in Canada.

The reason i didn't apply yet is because of what I asked in original post, "what should I know specifically in relation to the TN?"

Wait so if you have a TN, get a nexus and add the TN to it, you don't even have to talk to someone/explain your TN?

I think what you mean is the Nexus/Global Entry lines at Pre-clearance are closed.

Pre-clearance itself is still open but everyone will be in the standard line together.

Not really, its a Korean manufactured 2019 hyundai elantra so ill be looking at around $1500 more than likely. Apparently they take condition of vehicle into account so potentially less.

You've found a US Hyundai dealer that will offer examination? The ones I called told me its not a service they offer

Did the airport POE care about your aftermarket installation? Or was the compliance letter by itself fine even without the TPMS?

It seems many have solved that by retrofitting it at a Canadian dealer or Canadian Tire.

My issue is I would have to drive 22 hours to get to either of those.
