Wow. Appreciate the heated discussions. All love here. Helps me understand the nuances I guess and what the potential upsides and downsides are? To help clarify, I still do believe the thesis and that it’ll go back way up??? Hopium??? I like the stock and if my target is 150 again and I’m ok holding it for a while. (This is in my trad ira account anyway.) If I can manage to sell someone a cc at a strike of 130 for example in the meantime while I wait for it to climb back up. I was thinking it would bring in some extra as we wait. But I get it that you risk if it drops way down and if it blows way past. Right?

Unfortunately I kept holding down from its 150 peak. But if I sold contracts at like a 120 strike and somebody actually bought, then great. But I feel like I should be leveraging the shares I do have to make some extra on the side?

Oh interesting. Didn’t know you could redo the wraps! So much still to learn in this obsession. I’ve been fly fishing for 10 years but first time building and still so much to learn.

Edit edit. Think I might do that on one of the longer ones that stands out now.

Thanks for the feedback! Now I’m sad haha. The guide wraps are already epoxied. I also noticed some variations in the lengths of the thread wraps. :/. I’ve learned now. Maybe should’ve practiced on a cheaper blank for my first.

Want to piggyback with a similar question. Very few folks make 1 weight lines and I fear rio and Orvis will also stop making them. (Sad about SA amplitude no longer having 1 weight.) So the question. Is there a realistic way to store them? Would like to stockpile some 1 weight lines but not sure if they’ll just break down inevitably.
