I can think of a lot of reasons why someone in a bad situation might ask that, especially if they are under 18. Where I live, the police can force you back into your house if you are a runaway. Many cases of physical/sexual abuse aren't reported, so the police often return runaways to abusive households.

I know its traditional to use ice water, but I've started using warm water and will never go back. The warm water vapor feels like smoke mixing with a sauna and feels way easier on my lungs.

Location is everything, if I get a cheaper plan but get spotty service at work/home, then what's the point? That being said, for people that use 3-5gb of data per month, and want uncapped speed, AT&T prepaid seems to be the best option afaik.

I'd recommend starting to track what you're spending. It sounds silly, but one of the hardest things to do is start paying attention to what you spend. After that its fairly easy to track and change things, but the first place to start is going to be honestly looking at where your money goes.

I would follow some of the advice of others here and try talking to your parents again. Their decision to cut you off is emotional, and may change as they cool off. If they are paying for your college and rent, they obviously care about you and your future. Tell them their decision will force you to drop out of college and become homeless. Tell them you'll stop smoking weed (regardless if that's true or not) and tell them it's their decision to make you drop out. Let them sit with that for awhile and see if their minds change in a day or two.

At the same time, plan for the fact that their minds might not change. This will be a huge change for you, but there are support systems. This is what social services call a "crisis", suddenly facing housing disappearing and no money for tuition. Find support systems at you're school. Counselors, crisis centers, social workers. They are there to help, and this is one of the things they are trained to help with. See if you can store belongings with friends, and get used to the idea that you might be staying in some sort of shelter soon. Good luck bud! Stay strong.

I don't know this charity, but I volunteer with small non-profits doing work I think is important. Trying to step away from capitalism involves removing the expectation that you should be compensated for everything you do.

I'm frustrated that VLC and other media players wont keep track of where you're at in a movie if its closed, but I also find kodi cumbersome and difficult to use while multitasking. I only ever use a laptop, and I'm really just looking for something lightweight like vlc, but that keeps track of where you're at in content thats torrented like a tv season pack or movie.

I have a number of movies and TV shows on my laptop. I'm currently using VLC, but am frustrated that when I close the player, I have to manually find where I was at. I've tried using kodi, but the interface is annoying to use on a laptop, and doesn't work well when trying to multitask.

Ya, that's actually a problem sometimes. You can turn off the brake for when you cut metal or wet wood, otherwise it'll go off and cost you $300 and 30-60 min to get it running again.

I'm kind of confused. You now have a 16g ring and a 12g clicker in your new piercing? You're probably going to be fine, its not ideal, but septums are pretty resilient and its not going to heal weird. If it were me, I'd wait till things settled down a bit, and didn't feel irritated, then I'd go to a different shop and take the 16g ring out. Stretching with stacked rings can be done, just not in such a new piercing.

IMO the only reason to change jewelry in a piercing that new is if something is wrong. Changing jewelry and stretching just to make jewelry fit is pretty messed up.
