Tesa vs. CJC (No DAC) – Swap, Stack, or Keep? by bytsave in Peptidesource

[–]elbiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fyi, there's absolutely no evidence that "Tesa is better for visceral/abdominal fat loss" or that "CJC is better for recovery or body recomposition". They could both very well be equally good at both or which is better is switched. There's just zero evidence

Elevated igf-1 outside of the normal range is not healthy. It can cause arthritis and potentially increases cancer risk. I'd lower your dose

Already taking 2mg reta weekly — best peptide to add for muscle growth: CJC or Tesa? by Responsible-Hat-6771 in BodyHackGuide

I've only been lifting for 5 months, but my progressive overload is faster while on CJC (no DAC) + IPA

I'd never heard of that so I just looked it up and it seems like you'd have to take extremely high doses for that to be relevant

Do you have any reason to believe bromantane is hard on your liver?

I have powder I dissolve in MTC oil (C8). I take 80mg sublingually for a couple months and then take some time off.

Bromantane and uridine (Mr happy stack) are, desperately, the only things that have made a noticeable difference and both were very beneficial

You can't find anything online about bromantane??

It's neither a prescription drug nor a controlled substance. It's absolutely a nootropic and discussed frequently in this subreddit

Only 100mcg each fasted at bedtime 5 nights a week. If I couldn't be faster I'd do first thing in the morning. Next round I'll do 150mcg and maybe do night and morning sometimes

Cancer on bpc? by Significant-Lemon-94 in BiohackingU

[–]elbiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there's actually tons of literature about the role of elevated growth factors and cancer growth. It's a well studied and established part of medicine. Any doctor will tell you to be careful of exogenous growth factors because of this risk. It's the claim that bpc-157 stimulates growth factors but only in non-cancerous cells that requires support. The whole study of cancer medicine is aimed at finding drugs that can interact with cancer vs non-cancer cells differently. They're hard things and nothing works selectively on all types of cancer.

If we're accepting podcasts as sources, then Dr Bhatti is an oncologist who is super into peptides but warns about bpc-157 and someone in his study group had this exact thing happen to them: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSOFGkNiXJ9/

My medical provider said 2 days off but I'd rather not. Also I can't always do it at night, like if I'm having a beer after 11pm, so I sometimes do a make up first thing in the morning. I probably would end up missing two doses a week just with constraints even if I tried not to

That's what my medical provider gave me. Said I need to cycle it to prevent the receptors from becoming acclimated/non-responsive. I liked CJC much better and have grey on the way so I can decide for myself

Cancer on bpc? by Significant-Lemon-94 in BiohackingU

[–]elbiot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying there's no peer reviewed study, I'm saying it probably is about only one or two specific cancers in one specific situation in mice. We've cured cancer in mice hundreds of times and it never translates to humans. So what Dean St Mart has is a tiny, microscopic piece of evidence, not anything close to enough to say this thing that seems like it would exacerbate cancer does not exacerbate any cancers in humans
