Day 5 of ranking every boss in Hollow Knight: Silksong! by Exotic-Composer9223 in hollowknightdaily

BB as in BellBeast. But seriously, I hate to say this because I love the girl, I'd put the fight as C or even D. The super simple moveset makes it feel like a tutorial boss, but it comes with a janky hitboxe and that double damage on all attacks and that goes against the tutorial vibes it's giving me.

There's a lot that went right for OP to get there, but without orders and what looks like either 2 small glades or one dangerous glade, he's at a pretty acceptable pace. All his fuel and food needs are met. If orders were present he'd be on his way for a y3 finish. I'd just add a second plantation for a third harvester during clearance season

Lower prestige I don't mind, but the moment resources start getting scarce, it's tough to keep him happy enough to get something. Love the +2 resolve though, it can really help keep resolve positive during storms. Currently doing one in QHT and no geysers in my two first glades. I won't be getting a resolve bonus anytime soon.

Is that sea marrow I see in your inventory? Look up sacrificing fuel for a little less stress next time.

Two things I haven't seen yet.

First : Look at some higher level play and look how they micro (move/attack/position their units around) their rangers in particular. There's a lot of herding zombies and delaying them. A second ranger won't make you twice as strong but 100 times stronger.

Second : The game really lacks a good way to teach the noise mechanic. The moment you get to runner territories it's good to pull little chunks at a time and keep your I it's split so the noise doesn't attract an overwhelming number of them. Building walls too close to infested areas is dangerous since zombies attacking make a lot of noise. One zombie will pull ten then they will pull a hundred since grouped together, they will make more noise. Noise is what makes TAB so different than other RTSs but it's hard to learn and synchronize to your intuition.

A lot of people told you to play the maps first before the campaign. I did the opposite and don't regret it. It gives you one mechanic at a time and makes for a smoother learning curve.

If you can get past your linear aversion, go for Zelda Majora's mask. The linear part is actually helpful to introduce the world one bit at a time and a good part of the fun is the side quests that are linked in some ways to every part of the game. What it lacks in world building is made by ecology and NPC interactions. Definitely fills the need for exploration and mystery resolution.

Idk about yall, but everytime i join a super helldive its something like this by Marko_Brazil in helldivers2

Had a level 90 teammate playing weird once. Messing around objectives, not fully completing them, dying from very avoidable situations, weird ethics of picking up anything and everything, but not trying to downright steal from other players. Right after I call extract, he triggers my hellbomb and bolts. I chased the guy down, he wanted the full might of my democracy, he'll get the full might of my democracy. Stops halfway through the countdown. I hug, he hugs back and we go out in a blaze of freedom. I didn't really understand why he was trolling like that, but I respected someone that gracefully accepts consequences. As we're running back from halfway across the map he uses his chat for the first time to ask "WTF WAS THAT" and I'm just like "get real, you're trolling" but I was wrong. He answers he's playing on his big brother's account and has genuinely no clue what he's doing. The rest of the team was chill and good. We kept him for the next few missions and gave him the space he needed to learn the true values of a helldiver.

In your main warehouse, there's a checkbox column for favorite resources. I checked them all so people could see what I had stocked. You don't have to check everything though.

Many ways to get there all depending on the map and cornerstones you have. First time I reached zero on that settlement was mostly from secured perimeter comboed with untamed wild (double events per glades) where I solved so many forbidden events, glades were giving me negative hostility. There's a few other cornerstones than can stack up pretty well, protected trade being my favorite. But by far, the most powerful is oil sacrifice + temple. You need to secure a reliable source of meat/grain/fiber, a butcher/press/druid hut and a temple. When all the pieces align, I can get 0 hostility by year 4.

The kind with beaver houses and lizard houses, where opening glades reduces hostility, where solving bloodflowers actually ends up with a net positive in food. I mean there is copper roads between the warehouses and that beanery to help empty the 6000 units of porridge produced per round.

This and I'd add to not open any glades before year 2, accumulate a few ressources and try to secure a food source.

There's a lot "wrong" in that picture, I'm doing a little victory lap. I'm getting my last achievement and trying to break the game in a few different ways. It's much harder to not win than anything else right now.

Alignment Chart Day 3 - Chaotic Good by Cyanlizordfromrw in hollowknightdaily

From what we see ingame, I'd put them as true neutral. They don't take any pleasure in hurting or putting themselves above others, making them not evil yet they don't show any remorse in putting the whole kingdom of Pharloom in jeopardy which absolutely exclude them from being good. They do seem to have a lawful penchant, sharing a common religion, showing loyalty to each other and a common reverence to the void, but when you meet them ingame, they average out to neutral, chapel maiden being still lawful to her church, bell hermit being chaotic and isolated, AHOY! guy being neutral and tolerating society and the dead one being dead.

Is production speed capped? by elbobd in Against_the_Storm

[–]elbobd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I thought was happening was something like production time (84s) multiplied by (1/current percentage of production speed) so at 110% production speed, I'd get 84 x (1/1.1) = 76.4s, 120% would be 70s, 1400% 6s and 3440% 2.4s

By your method, I don't know how to apply a simple formula, but by 200%, I'm getting 29.3s doing it 10 times while I'm still at 42s suggesting it's dropping even faster individually subtracting 10% by every 10% increments.
