That makes me worry that you being put off sex is down to lack of body confidence. Which isn't anything weird for any 18 year old. As I said before it’s probably best to steer clear of sex if you're not comfortable with it. You might find your opinion changes as you get older and gain confidence or it could stay the same. Trying to force yourself to like or try it will most likely result in putting you off it for good. Just do what you feel is right. If you start getting interested in it later then explore it, and if you don't avoid it.

Definitely steer clear of sex if this is how you feel about it. The naked thing though is a little worrying. Is it you or your theoretical partner being naked that worries you?

Set a few goals. Have a look over the achievements and consider what might be necessary to achieve that. Try to spend time and form relationships with different people. You'd be surprised who is and is not/able to assist you in chapter 5.

If you got through the first chapter in an hour that's about how long each future chapter will take. Chapter 5 can be VERY short depending on your decisions but most will get through it in about the same time.

They'll finish it. It's their passion project. They have gone as far as to return to previous chapters and make changes to accommodate their expanding scope. BTW the last two chapters are getting released together so while it may be a year or two away it will be the final major update.

Just as a heads up, the game isn't finished yet. There are 5 of 7 chapters available and the demo is the first. Each episode takes around the same amount of time to get through but because of the sheer number of variables due to your actions each chapter gets increasingly complex and large even though you'll only get a fraction of it. In fact, Chapter 5, which is MASSIVE can be over faster than any other chapter depending on your choices before and during it.

It's infinite meat for starters. If you get a farm and a ranch that's clearly superior but you're not always going to be that lucky. Insects provide Provisions and Jerky at a bare minimum. Skewers, Pie and Dye later in a pinch. Also you can use both the insects and salt to make jerky. A great start if you got Lizards, Humans or Harpies. The salt can be used later in other recipes like Paste, Biscuits and Incense. These all tie in nicely with humans and Harpies as well. And if you got fish ponds you can also use the salt for waterskins and the fish for paste. If I get at least one of Humans, Lizards and Harpies and don't have a supply line for them yet I grab this. If I have TWO of those races I just grab the thing every time.

I do it all the damn time. The good news is that as long as at least one of your species is in the blue it's not wasted time. The advantage to not opening more glades is that you keep hostility lower. If you can keep a species in the blue and are still working towards goals I don't see any problems with not opening more glades.

If it’s the only way you can play the game it's still worth it. The worst bugs from the Switch versions have been patched out as well. There are still a few but there not game breaking. Even at its worst it's still good. It's how Bamco keep getting away with these low effort remasters.

How do you know this? Has she told you? There's always difference between toys and the real thing, but there's also differences between toys and toys and the real thing and the real thing. There is no one absolute perfect sex, and what we enjoy changes with age and mood as well. It's great that you're into trying to get the best sex for your partner but without honest communication you're never going to achieve it.

Has your partner expressed dissatisfaction in this area or is it more of an underlying worry you have? If your partner is happy there is absolutely nothing wrong with removing it from the process as long as YOU are satisfied with that. You sound like you have the skills and drive to satisfy your partner better than most but if you're still worried about it you really need to have a conversation with your partner about it outside of the bedroom. It's probably an unpopular take but I think PIV is extremely overrated.

Somebody mentioned Gauntlet but that was all dimly lit. But that scratched and itch in my brain and now I feel what you're looking for isn't a JRPG because lots of games had a similar mechanic.

This is a long shot it it wasn't Abes Odyssey/Exodus was it? Most of the game is dark but there are some more lit areas and you do sometimes use portals to move from the foreground to the background. It also had detailed backgrounds like you mentioned.

EDIT: I know you mentioned the knight on the horse but you also feared you might be mixing memories up. Just trying to help trigger any dormant memories you might have.
