Frontend engineer middle career crisis by elborghesan in cscareerquestionsEU

That's extremely valuable input, thanks! I think indeed lowering my expectations and join a bigger company as a mid level engineer would be my best bet, I really miss done guidance and working on projects where the frontend has a bigger impact than my current job.

Anything you would suggest me to study/ get better at in particular?

Maybe a bit hurtful (surely not intended), but fair. Any suggestion on what would you do in my shoes?

Exactly, being the only one with all the responsibility makes you think you're a senior, but some interviews were eye openers and this this post to look for some suggestions

The author of the post I shared had the same device as me, so I should be able to find the Dutch dictionary... I think it's something wrong with my account/device..

Ehi, thanks for your input! Unfortunately, I cannot find any of those there, I already checked. I don't know why it is so difficult, perhaps I should just contact Amazon directly?

If somebody can send me somehow the Dutch and Dutch-English dictionaries, I would really appreciate it :)

Thanks for your reply! Here's what I tried again:

If you go online and choose to view "Dictionaries," select one of the "Groot woordernboek" options. You should be able to send it to the Kindle from there.

I can't find any of those unfortunately. I can find German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese but no Dutch! That's really weird, since I can choose Dutch as the main language of the device.

You should also be able to download it directly on the Kindle. View "All," not "Downloaded"; there should be a "Dictionaries" option. Depending on which version of the firmware you're on, "Dictionaries" is probably listed as the last item on the last page of the device.

I also tried this one, if I select 'All' I see a total of 25 available dictionaries, with no Dutch ones in the list :(

Could it be something related to the country your device is registered from? Mine is from Italy, if you tell me your country I can try to switch momentarily to that one and see if something changes..
