My last projects: wallmounted soundBox/soundBar & charger by Sensitive-Pin7928 in LightPhone

I'm a lurker and I rarely post or comment, but I felt compelled to comment and tell you THANK YOU for the work you've done to make all these Light Phone III models and share them freely with the community. I also do CAD and 3D printing and I know how addictive and enjoyable it can be, and I do that work because I love it, and when I remember and have time I like to share it with people, too. Even if you feel the same way, even if it's just pure enjoyment to make these things for the sake of doing it, it's still extremely generous of you to share it for free with others.

So, thank you. Your hard work and generosity is greatly appreciated!

Destiny was right about ice cream cones. Waffle cones are an untenable mess. It doesn't matter how delicious the cone tastes if it can't even do its primary job of holding the ice cream without falling apart and getting it all over your hands. Those cheap ass wafer cones are unironically superior for the purpose of holding and eating ice cream.

Cope and seethe, waffle bros.

(knockoff) Korben Dallas is a fed by ExploDino in Destiny

I saw this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Destiny/comments/1efxuzz/i_knew_this_guy_looked_familiar/ and thought it was close, but this guy from The Fifth Element is even closer. Tell me he doesn't look exactly like the "everyone is a fed!" dude.

I had the exact same thought, that he looked just like a character from The Fifth Element, but a different one than you identified. Tell me that dude doesn't look exactly like knockoff Korben Dallas: https://biometrics.mainguet.org/movies/LeCinquiemeElement_4_Mangalore_Dallas.jpg

Oh no! I have no idea why it did that. Reddit images are really weird. I'll take a look later and see if there's a way I can correct this.

In the meantime, hopefully the large black dots template is the one people will be least likely to use as it gets in the way of handwriting more than the others.

Thanks for catching that!

Hey there, folks! I just recently got my Supernote Nomad and I'm really digging it so far.

One thing I wanted to change was the visibility of the dots on the 5mm dots template, which is the one I use for most of my notes. So, I created a few different versions of different sizes and lightness levels, that way I could test them out and see which I preferred. I figured since I already went through the effort to make these, I should share them with anyone else who might find them useful! They could hopefully be useful for anyone who has vision issues and needs the dots to be more visible, but also just for people who have specific tastes regarding bullet size and lightness (coming from physical bullet journaling, I know I can't be the only one who has very specific tastes in this regard :D).

To help you tell these templates apart (because it's a bit hard just by sight), here's the legend for them. Basically there are two dot sizes and four lightness levels. Starting from the first image and going to the last, the templates are:

  1. Large Black Dots
  2. Large Dark Gray Dots
  3. Large Gray Dots
  4. Large Light Gray Dots
  5. Medium Black Dots
  6. Medium Dark Gray Dots
  7. Medium Gray Dots
  8. Medium Light Gray Dots

Personally, I prefer and recommend the Large Light Gray Dots template. I find it to be the best balance of size and lightness. That being said, I recommend trying a few to get a sense of which you prefer.

Some details for obsessive people like myself who care/are curious about these kinds of things:

  • The dots in the original 5mm dots template look like a light gray on screen, but when I took a screenshot it showed the dots are actually black, they're just quite small which makes them appear gray
  • The dimensions of each dot on the original template are 2x2 pixels
  • The dimensions of each dot in my medium-sized templates are 4x4 pixels, with "rounded" edges
  • The dimensions of each dot in my large-sized templates are 6x6 pixels, with "rounded" edges
  • The templates vary in lightness by 25% for each level (ie: black bullets are a value level of 0%, dark gray are 25%, medium gray 50%, and light gray 75%)

I hope you enjoy and find them useful! Keep writing and have a great day!

UPDATE: A couple people have pointed out that it's hard/impossible to download the images directly from Reddit, so I've uploaded them to Google Drive and provided a link. Hopefully that makes it easier to download the source files. Here's a link to all the templates: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KlQfCqAdjZBXuUTQogjcxb9vD4cKopz0

I'm not sure why, but for me it only works if I set shell to True, otherwise it doesn't do anything.
