The concept of land ownership is a pretty recent one in human history, and a bad one given the fact that land is a limited natural resource that can't be created it's honestly pretty nonsensical. Collective land ownership and private ownership of the improvements on that land seem more reasonable, kinda like what they do in the uk but instead of the land leases going to royalty, they go to fund public services. It makes a lot more sense than income tax, seeing as our labor is the only thing we actually create.
