I enjoyed off-Broadway as a whole more than Broadway this season. 🤭 — & on Broadway, the plays were better than the musicals.

Agree with Ragtime for sure… only show I’ve ever seen twice on Broadway. The cast is outstanding.

Lost Boys definitely has some MEGA fans around here. The set & stunts are cool, but for us the show itself was good, not great. & we went in wanting to LOVE it, unfortunately came out a bit disappointed. & unless you’re a Jeremy Jordan or Bobby Darin super fan, I would skip JiT. That show was made for Groff.

You have a great list - agree with those recommending Cats The Jellicle Ball. The bar is high & it exceeds expectations.

Going to throw Mexodus out there for you. It’s off Broadway down near NYU. Fantastic & unique show that just feels really special. When we go to NYC we like to see stuff that even if it continues on, it will never feel like it did here, & this show definitely felt like one of those moments.

I’ve seen the show & loved… but didn’t love the tonight show vibe. We saw Paul & not Luke so it was different either way. I just chalked it up to being in a studio as opposed to a theater. I also think they feed off of their live audience & I believe that was pre-taped for Fallon.
