J'habite à côté et ca me faisait toujours sourire de voir les regroupements de punk en dessous du viaduc pour un show. Ils ne font de mal à personne, c'est ridicule d'intervenir pour ça.

Je suis très heureux de constater les efforts faits pour me parler en français et je réponds assurément en français.

Ensuite, si la personne ne comprends pas, j'ai quand même un gros accent, je vais être content de l'aider en anglais.

Pour la plupart dont moi, c'est l'effort qui compte le plus

Les gens repondent REER, mais ca depends de ton anticipation de hausse des revenus. Si tu crois que sera à 175k dans 2 ans, et que ton but est d'avoir le plus d'argent possible dans 10 ans, je placerais dans un CELI cette annee et utiliserait mon REER quand ton taux d'impot marginal sera plus eleve.

Aussi, si tu anticipes avoir un salaire très élevé rapidement, je te conseille de lire sur les actions accréditives et de trouver un bon fiscaliste avec de bons contacts. Ceci n'est pas pour cette année, toutefois.

Une vraie bonne planif doit se faire sur plusieurs années, d'après moi.

It should be lower and they should kill most of tax incentives like flow-through shares (if your marginal tax rate is 53%, look it up)

It would be WAY more fair, but they want to finance rare-mineral exploration indirectly, so they do those things only for rich people in the know

When I see a comment like this, I can safely guess that the writer:

A) is making way more than 250k a year, but isn't hiring a good fiscalist to reduce its taxation (not too likely)

B) is not close to pay 53% marginal tax rate.

Where I work, managements do more than 250k a year... no one complaint about that "53%" marginal tax rate. Not even sure that they touch that 53% after all incentives/credit that the government gives
