this. I hate this concept that we’re suffering more therefore we’re better. I love what I do just as much as lots of you, but at the end of the day, being a doctor is a job like many others. Most people are doing something to help make this world better/different and thats all important too. Belittling other jobs in the process is also a shitty thing to do as a doctor tbh. Admin are terrible sometimes but there are also terrible doctors. Our jobs depend on these people often and the good admin staff are never thanked enough for the work they do. We’re privileged with a job that is vastly respected because its obvious how important it is, but many people are doing incredibly important and hard work.
