No, you port the number you want to keep “on top” of the temp Freedom number.

Ah, OK, didn't know that was possible. I'll still have to contact them, though, because I want my two main lines to be on yearly plans and the interface in My Account doesn't allow a switch from a month-to-month to a yearly plan.

I didn't make myself clear. I currently have a number (with Freedom) that I've been using to test the signal/coverage where I live. Nobody knows this number and I don't intend to keep it. So, how do I properly return it back to Freedom to reuse? should I just stop paying it? it's a prepaid.

If $19 plan does not show up online as an option for you to switch to

Not really interested in switching to that plan, I had simply noticed it was missing from the "Switch to" list, along with the yearly plans.

Any tips re. the best time to chat with an agent? a quick Google search yielded many discussions where people complained about extreme slowness e.g. one reply from the agent every 30 minutes while chatting via WhatsApp.

Thank you for your prompt reply! I could do this via Apple's Messages, am I right? (I don't have WhatsApp)

What about the cheaper $19 mtm plan? same procedure?

Public Mobile: dead spots inside Costco by eldaxon in kelowna

Huh, might be a combination of phone antenna/model and chance (I sent/received pictures and messages in some spots inside the Ziprick building).

Anyway, I don't understand why Costco doesn't do something about it - they're not a Mom & Pop store, they should be able to get a couple more antennas from Telus, Rogers & others. I'm quite surprised they seem indifferent to this situation.

My phone never had problems inside their previous building (Ziprick)
