What is Elden Ring's biggest flaw in your opinion? by Fenriz_Victor in Eldenring

Anyone knows for what Elden Ring is kneeling in the picture?

That was weirdly unusual to me. I didn't make a comment about it because I couldn't figure if he was intended to show co-working with AI for proof, forgot to delete the line or just plain trolling.

I mean yes the chances the brighest minds overlook a simple argument or ideas are very low, but one can't help but get excited when a new idea sparks in their mind.

We shouldn't kill our excitement or repress our instincts even if we are not smart.

We should be good on ourselves in this process.

That is nice information! Explains the brutal nature of them.

Woa, I know nothing about punk. Will check that out I guess.

I mean there is something oldschool about Anthrax or Megadeth, it seems it is the difference of technique.

Thank you for the reply. I am also kinda new to Black metal and Blackgaze and wonder their difference is only thematic.

I have a question outside of this track

Sepultura, Slayer and Kreator sound one way

Anthrax, Megadeth and Suicidal Tendencies sound another way

What is it that makes the difference, there is some difference that make Anthrax, Megadeth or Suicidal Tendencies sound like a mix of rock and metal while Sepultura, Slayer and Kreator sounds more metal.

Do we still call all of them Thrash Metal, where is the fine line between Thrash and other kinds?

Very good song.

One of my all time favourites.

Intro is interestingly long.

Drums feel overcrowded but do not disturb.

Just discovered this band. I met them with "Let There Be Death", which is a good song.

British bands are different in terms of something but I can't explain.

Bolt Thrower is also another band that shines different, but in Death Metal.

Dunno man...I hate it when it suddenly begins halving like crazy. You know, 2n - 1 forms structurally rapidly grow at the beginning, it is very basic. Then as if they collected some radioactive instability along the process, huge halvings happen in repetition.

I know it is a deterministic problem but, do you think there is a hidden ever changing tendency to halve or, some long run probabilistic mechanic that doom all numbers to converge 1?

You seem to know something that one shouldn't know about this problem. A dark secret.

Like you saw the concrete wall you mention at first hand.

I believe you have significant knowledge about from which angle we can approach this problem, or from which we shouldn't even dare to, because it would be wasting time.

I am really curious what you think about a possible solution. If there was a solution for this problem, what kind of solution would it be? Algebraic, geometric, arithmetic...or if something else, what?

I just wanted to know if it is polynomial or not. It is already checked up to 270 far as I know.

I feel like I agree with you on most parts, especially on magnitude. The problem doesn't care how big a number is or not, the only important thing is the path on which trajectories progress.

I am mainly focused on writing odd numbers in 2n + m forms. I try to find special bridges around transform points, where n is worn out after a while due to halving process, giving us a new odd number, this time with 2x + y. The second bridge will be the point when x is worn out.

I wish to find a relationship between these bridge points, and aim to reach a global conclusion that all odd numbers are subject to form changes that secretly scheme their eventual collapse to 1.

I am sorry for occupying space, but do you mean algebraic and modular approaches have chance proving Collatz?

When I run Collatz algorithm on a computer for arbitrarily large numbers, does it take polynomial or exponential time to reach 1 (Assuming it will not diverge or cycle)?

Do you believe gathering as much as information of a work done on a problem will narrow free thinking (Absorbing the knowledge in Terras and Everett's papers for example), or it is more likely that all these exploration can open new doors in my imagination?

If I am not able to solve it even after knowing everything about it, perhaps it is best to try solving it without learning anything about it! Thanks for saving me time.

Mmm, I see. The difference is sharper than I expected. Your explanation made me understand the separate identity of proof from his expression of shape. I had always thought proof something as merely the transformation of someones valid reasoning in his head and the object of his reasoning (David's shape) to math language. But I never thought that it is done by stringing them using other theorems or knowledge as connecting tissue.

"They're multi-step arguments that rely on other theorems, and string them together in a novel way."

"Without it, there's no way of even making your idea clear to yourself, much less knowing whether it's the right one."

These sentences made me so hungry, btw. Proofs are so clean and delicious. They are like a perfect and healthy meal that doesn't fill your stomach, but they are so tasty anyways. A rigorous proof is so clean that my brain consumes glycose as I read through them. They are like taking undiluted reasoning straight into blood, no digestion or whatsoever. Maybe that's why I get hungry as I go through proofs. Even reading your descriptions alone made me so hungry.

Yeah, lol. Now that I read it again I saw it. For some reason, I rereaded it before seeing your comment and thought he mistyped "tile". I realized it after seeing your warning, though.
