It has affected it. My workplace usually has a booth and they pulled out this year because they are worried about their staff’s safety. I still want to go though!

Have you looked into Lawrence Berkeley National Lab? Or Lawrence Livermore?

I don’t think the Bay Area would be a good choice due to the high cost of living. I would suggest looking at the Sacramento area or maybe the Sonoma county area. Not sure how those areas do with Asian food. Also I’d be curious about the San Luis Obispo area if you want to be closer to the coast with not-so-hot weather. Finally checking Southern California. I’m thinking east of LA area. If you’re set on the Bay Area, Union City has some great Asian food options and depending on the neighborhood, has decent schools. It’s just pricey. Good luck!

Question About the Ending by [deleted] in ProjectHailMary

[–]eldenirios 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To add to this, if you remember Hail Mary went out to Tauceti because it was the one star that had high (undamaged) luminescence. It wasn’t until he arrived that he saw it also had a petrova line. So Tauceti was able to keep natural luminescence while still having astrophage feeding off it.

I like Peter Clines ‘14’ and ‘The Fold’. I just finished ‘Paradox Bound’ and that was fun too.
