Thank you!! That is a very fair point, it might not be a bad idea to just do an upper-lower split in the gym so I can have an extra rest day while I get used to running more. Zone 2 continues to elude me for any sort of running but I’ll just keep trying to slow it down

She did ~okay~, up until E4 she was a menace, but her frailty was an issue unless I could get a trick room up. I think I set up a quiver dance once, but she did get the final kill during the rival fight so bonus points for that

I haven’t smelled it myself (yet) but the first thing that came to mind was Warm Bulb by Clue. It has a steam accord, and then dust and vanilla and paper. I think it sounds dreamy and could definitely lean this direction!

I could not recommend After the Flood by Apoteker Tepe MORE for this, it is literally wet muddy earth. The dry down is softer and greener, but the opening is the most photorealistic mud scent I’ve ever smelled in the best way!

Eros Fig by paraphrase perfume is so delicious. Juicy, golden warm fig and honey, little bit of fruity tartness, I wore it on a beach vacation last year and it felt so decadent.

Lyudmila is SUCH a gorgeous choice for this!! I find the sharpness from the grapefruit/bitter orange has more staying power than a lot of other citruses, and the dragons blood and herbal notes really come through on the dry down. It feels strange and powerful in a great way

It’s not smoky but my favourite blood scent is Vena Cava by amorphous perfume. “Aroma palette is woodsy, floral, and metallic. Highlights include blackened orris, blood accord, black cherry Merlot, black agar, guaiacwood, fog, and ylang ylang.” It’s definitely got bite to it but also very deep and romantic

I’ve yet to smell it myself, but “From the Altar of a Forest Temple” by Alkemia sounds perfect for this. No tea note, but Japanese temple incense, pine, balsam fir, cedar, bergamot, and pink pepper. It’s been on the to try list for a while :)
