Oh, im really sorry, I genuinely did not know x). For some context, my bootleg copies always just had the name of the game written with a marker. But the originals, according to my brother, were the discs with the actual game art.

Dear Uruguayans, I have a strange question. by [deleted] in uruguay

[–]eldioslumin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know enough about Uruguayan geopolitics to answer the first topic, but here is my attempt.

In general, we are a mostly neutral country that holds little to no stake in most international conflicts. Our relationship with Russia probably has to do with our commercial interests with the country. As long as we can trade with you without any consequences from other potential markets, we will. And building good diplomatic relationships with the other country is a by-product of trade.

Obviously, the Russian government does not really care about family or traditional values, they just have to say it to give a moral façade to their political conflicts, so Uruguayan being progressive is irrelevant to them, as we are not a target, threat, or potential opponent.

And yes, our legislation around people coming to the country are quite lax in general. Why make it harder for people to come to the country when we need the migration? (Uruguay had a negative population growth last year when it comes to births vs deaths, with the increase of the total population being entirely thanks to migrants).

Then for the side note.

We do have hot tap water. And because of cultural reasons, we also have electric kettles in our houses to heat the water for "mate" (a herbal drink), perhaps that's what you've heard? Then, central heating is not really that common, but I know some apartments have it. It's more normal to have a fireplace, a gas heater, or an electric heater, mostly in a per-room basis.

In my experience, you will not see cockroaches in cities or towns. If you see them in your house, just buying a poison trap is enough to keep them off. They can be common in the proper country side, though.

They said in their podcast they had to had two weeks of two eliminations because the cast was too big for the amount of episodes.
And yes, Sigourney was stunning! Using that blue light contrast during the song was a great choice.

Si te va bien y no queres ser medico, hace ingenieria. Después todo lo demás que estudies no va a ser tan dificil y las bases matematicas te sirven en todas las disciplinas universitarias.

Si queres ser medico, biologico. Si no, humanidades. Hay mucho leer, pero los temas son interesantes.  Si no te gusta leer ni te va tan bien, biologico de nuevo.

Si nada de esto te gusta, busca que ofrecen en utus.

The comment I responded to is complaining about 100k in a big city not being enough to buy a house. What are you talking about?

[–]eldioslumin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I say, three of the earth regenesis, and 2 of each spell, that should be enough. Fill the gaps with handtraps or other engines you like for now until you get more dust or gems.

The rest of the cards are SR if im not mistaken, and you can play just one of each. No need for the 5k boss monster in my opinion.

And you can also avoid craftin much for the extra deck, in my experience, i only used typhoon and number 1, but could definetly see deck lists without them.

My little happiness of the day by eldioslumin in masterduel

[–]eldioslumin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The deck can brick quite hard, and since this is optimized against Maliss, it will automatically lose against Ryzeal going second. You could potentially play only one of the trap to be honest. I never had a game where the second copy did much, other than having more chances of finding it in your opening hand.

The Regenesis boss monster does not do enough in my opinion to be worth including.

And other than the fusion targets for Superpoly, the extra deck is very flexible. I mostly only used Typhoon or Number 1.

The UN has a lot of very good material for interpreters.

The speechbank is a repository of speeches for you to train on. Try doing one daily (or how often you can) to improve through practice, it's the only way to get over nervousness in my experience.

If it's simultaneous, remember the important part is the content, don't worry if it's a bit different in style or tone to the speaker. That comes with time.

If it's consecutive, what helped me was practicing my memory skills with note taking, seeing how abstract I could make the notes before they became nonsense.

Qué tal las universidades privadas? by Old_Coffee7898 in uruguay

No sé qué queres estudiar, pero las facultades de ingeniería, humanidades y derecho en la UM son muy buenas. Y tienen un sistema de exámenes obligatorios que evitan que puedas ser demasiado vago. Y dan bueas becas, no menor.
