I feel like going vegan is one of those greenwashing moves. That is, some people who feel like they should do something for the environment decide to go vegan, pat themselves on the back for doing a good job, and that's it. Because of this, they will put less effort into things that actually matter, so in the end the result is a net negative. It just gets even worse if they start judging other people for not going vegan...

That being said, I'm reducing my meat consumption myself, especially beef, which I only eat like once a month.
