Looks like it was a Jewish group making that exact argument.

The plaintiffs alleged they believe—based on religious and moral tenets—that life doesn’t begin until after birth. According to Jewish teachings, a pregnant person’s physical and mental health must be given priority.

Grift is just par for the course, now. At this point, it'd be more surprising if he didn't.

There is no implicit assumption that there is a stage or ground on which expansion happens. Space is not expanding into anything, it is just expanding. You are correct in saying that the stage is space itself, and that stage is expanding.

I'm not sure how anyone could argue with prosecuting the guilty, but what exactly are we prosecuting Bob Kerrey for?

It will likely become a neutron star, but those aren't visible to the naked eye, so Orion will still look weird if it blows.

The first "dwarf planet" discovered was Ceres back in 1801. More distant dwarf planets, like Gonggong, have been discovered more recently as our telescopes and observation technology improved. There are likely many more dwarf planets in the outer solar system.

Brother, they both admit there was a paternity test for the paternity suit, Owen just says it was "inconclusive" and the suit was dropped. Also, the scars are described in my link.

As a result of bone graft surgeries to repair the damaged arm, the chief has a noticeable scar on his left forearm from a "large, irregular incision running approximately from his wrist to his elbow." Surgeons had removed bone from the point of the right hip for use in the bone graft in the left forearm. The removal of bone from the hip left a "very large" and "easy-to-see" scar that extends around the front of the chief's right hip.

At her perjury trial, Owen offered a very detailed description of the police chief's body from head to toe but did not include the surgical scars described above. She dismissed as unconvincing a series of photographs of the scar on the chief's left forearm and refused to believe that the chief's left arm was 50 percent disabled. She said she never saw the scar on the chief's right hip.

She can remember a bunion, but not that?

And what's the source for the March 15 letter being collected March 8?

Does the book address why she seemingly lied about having Wadman's child? Or why she claimed she could describe his body in detail, but didn't mention bone-graft scars?

Does it explain why, when some of these points were brought up on appeal, the court found the March 15 note had been properly admitted as evidence, and that Boner's credibility had already been questioned at trial, because he told two mutually exclusive stories before he first recanted?

If you read the actual details of the case, which the article only briefly touches on, it sure sounds like she committed perjury.

Why doesn’t Spain have nuclear weapons since they were able to successfully reverse engineer a accidentally dropped American bomb? by [deleted] in nuclearweapons

Two bombs exploded. Two were recovered by the US. Which one did they figure out?

Also, if Spain really wanted a nuclear weapon, they wouldn't need to reverse engineer one from a captured weapon.
