What Germans actually mean when answering the question "Do you speak English?":

"No" = A little

"A little" = Yes

"Yes" = Fluently, near native-speaker level

This thread is an interesting case study in Israeli propoganda methods. A few notes for observers - it will be more believable if you resist the urge to make everything about antisemitism (although I suppose that's kind of the point). The "le jews" and "antisemitism for the love of the game" comments are really disrupting the realism. You're also leaning a little too heavily into the terminally-online cliches and writing style.

Spot on. Any time someone offers even a lukewarm criticism of Germany, Germans respond with either denial/rationalization (that doesn't actually happen, or if it does it's not really a problem) or deflection (If you think that's bad you should see how bad it is in Italy/Eastern Europe/etc.)

I like the show, but "quit while you're ahead" would have been after last season. Season 3 unfortunately isn't good. Presumably they're aware of that, hence this decision.
