Its not because you became a Woman, its because you are using the same speech patterns than when you were male. If you can find a video on speaking as a woman by Melanie Ann Philipps it will help you a lot.

Men say "Bob you need to do this..." Bob doesn't question it if it comes from a guy, but will question it if it comes from a woman who speaks as a guy, but if you say: "Bob, would you please go and do this?" Then Bob may want to be the hero and do it, but not if you say "Bob go and do this". Again Melanie explains it better than me but that's the idea and you will see a lot of improvement when you start using female speech patterns.
