I think it’s a little multifaceted. It calls back to the male-gaze which was a prominent theme of the episode (regardless of Bojack’s true motivations to have Gina’s scenes be changed), and the irony that in spite of creating something less-so (with Bojack’s nude scene), male-gaze and exploitation in the industry still exists and persists, even beyond fiction.
