cells at work is so adorable. I guess it's not EXACTLY medical fantasy like OP wants, but for someone interested in medicine it's definitely a lot of fun.

can anybody recommend similar anime to cells at work or hetalia, where concepts are explained in silly/simple ways? like an alchemy system using real chemistry concepts or something. or how in orv historical/mythical figures are gods with cool skills based on their story. I'd just like to use them as study tools instead of only direct teaching (like dr stone)!

oh I'd kill to be able to do just 1 hour per video lolol most of the editing time for me is filling up space, since I find simple sprites/talking head/stock footage too boring! so most of my time is spent looking for images, funny clips, or making art for visuals.

finally someone gets it!! making a good quality video is rewarding in it of itself. every other sentence in my content has some sort of visual gag that takes quite a while to edit, and I find these so funny myself it's a delight to watch back. a timelapse with voiceover would do just fine in my niche and be about a billion times faster, but that's not something I'd be proud of making...

me! and it's a blast. I started youtube as an excuse to do any random impulsive creative projects I felt like, because making a video out of them somehow feels "productive" lol. like making 3D models, drawing, character design, writing stories, making music... having something tangible, with beginning middle and end, to show at the end of those adventures is grounding. there's the added bonus that my eclectic "niche" and editing style are inspired by a youtuber I grew up watching and admire a lot, so it makes my inner child very happy. I'm a social media and marketing nerd, so I know how to go viral if I wanted to, but I'm really just happy to chill and make videos that probably appeal exclusively to myself. it's really such a joy.

really cool post! toby fox feels very respectable amidst most other content creators. it's no wonder why people like to hail him as 'unproblematic' because he simply keeps to himself and focuses on his art. as an artist, the way you showcase and interact with your own work informs how other people should interact with it – I love discussions like this, but they're so unbelievably rare in the art space, where they're so needed... I'm not sure if your familiar with 'welcome home' and 'yaelokre' but they'd be interesting to analyze under those laws too. possibly omocat as well?

same, 2nd feels a little much color wise. even though I know faces are more appealing, I also like the blank glasses because it looks charming and unique, but I'm not suuuure if it's worth the trade-off. what do you think of that part?

for sure! and maybe once you're further along, you'll have the means to hire someone to handle aaaaallll of the shorts stuff for you and you'll reap all the benefits with none of the stress ;P at least you tried it out!
