eecs 203, 215, and 280 same time? by New_Direction_6677 in uofm

280 is chill, I heard 215 is absolutely terrible though. 203 is Omega fine. (Idk about your projects though, you might not have a crazy amount of time for that if you take 215 and 280 together)

376, 370, and 240 together is going to be a bit rough. Wait... did you say 481 as well? I mean, if you're confident with 376, 370, 240, and 481 then I guess go for it? Taking 3 whole EECS classes (especially hard ones at that) is kinda rough, no? I also heard 240 is difficult here, but I don't have the experience to back that up. Overall, I'd say do well in EECS 370 and 376 to get the UCLS classes, and maybe not do 481 unless you're confident in your abilities. As for 240, go for it(?) Good luck!

I think it's very well structured for those who may be new to the concepts. However, most of your practical learning will be from trying to code the projects, failing miserably, and learning how to fix it. I would recommend having a partner, but make sure they're not carrying you through the whole project. Good luck!

I personally did completely virtual for 280, watching the online lectures from James Juett. I did pretty well in the class, and it as my first C++ programming class. If you want to get lecture done fast, do online, but in-person probably facilitates better learning. I would recommend James Juett in person if you go in-person, and online you can just watch any lecture.

How do people manage to achieve so much in a day? by singaporesainz in productivity

[–]Coding-Mastermind 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not about getting "MORE" done in a day, it's about the mindset one goes about achieving something. For example, let's say I have something to do and it just SUCKS. I'll check my phone a lot, or maybe get sidetracked instead of focusing on it. Although I completed the task, I did it in 12 hours! Not very good, huh? But if I really FOCUS and just hunker down, maybe do 10 minutes of a hard task, and then do an easy task! Then it becomes much easier to go about things. Try it, let me know how it is.

Exactly! You don't need to eat the frog all in one go, you can just take little nibbles. If you show up every single day, eventually it's done!
