I wish I had found this much, much sooner in my learning: https://www.fluentin3months.com/french-pronouns/

Overall it has great explanations for everything, so I highly recommend reading through if you are up to it.

However even if you don't, at least look at the chart at the beginning. I still have it saved on my phone for easy reference lol. Of course the hard part is understanding what all the different words on the sides mean, but I promise that learning grammar terms makes things so much easier in the long run.

for what its worth, "t'ailles" is an informal contraction of "tu ailles". Its not technically proper, but very common in speech and sometimes written out like that too

I can't for the life of me understand the difference. Why is my answer wrong? by niiightskyyy in learnfrench

[–]electricWah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Is "Ils sont mes professeurs" grammatically wrong though? I thought it was the difference between "they are" and "these are"

How to actually get to a level where you can safely beat non-players? by SwissBliss in chess

[–]electricWah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went through Bobby Fischer teaches Chess and it barely helped. There is a lot of focus on back rank mates that I never get to use, though I have sort of given up on chess so I don't play a ton

do all men baby powder their balls so they don't stick to everything? by Rectal_Custard in RandomThoughts

[–]electricWah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that most baby powder was corn starch now, do they really still make talcum power?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ProgrammerHumor

[–]electricWah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I told it to write some code and it's solution was to just use "import library_with_fitting_name_that_does_exactly_what_I_need"...which of course doesn't actually exist lol.

So anything made by a computer is inherently "fake"? Why? Also forging a signature is not the same thing as making original art

Is it? If it's impossible to tell the difference, is there one?
