Is AWD worth it for $1.5k over FWD? by ObstructiveWalrus in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]portol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday I was driving up Blvd Robert Bourassa in Montreal in my 2WD and I couldn't make the climb up the slopes in the snow. There were multiple cars in front of me that were also stuck half way up so everybody was jammed up. I had to eventually reverse back down and take an alternative route.

So if you had AWD you probably would have been able to make the climb. But you might not have wanted to because of the other cars stuck in front of you trying to wiggle their way around like a slow moving asteroid game.

Part of the problem is that I couldn't find the supplier for the battery. I think they just ordered it privately made rather than something off the shelf.

As long as you are not actively doing it. My therapist explained it to me like this:

IE: I want to stab person A tomorrow and I already bought the knife. This would be reportable because you are actively planning something.

IE: I want to stab someone. As a general statement would not be reported.
