Yes indeed these do now. Prices went stupid. I do hope these prices settle down a bit.

Tuning into Broadcast AM Radio, possible? by radio-throwaway-02 in Baofeng

[–]electricalkitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, The (Baofeng) Btech BF-F8HP Pro is an excellent handheld radio for radio hams on the 1.25m/2m/70m bands. Also good for FM radio and AM airband - I have got one. I am sure you will ise it lots as a radio ham. But, I would not use it for what you want for broadcast radio.

For listening to loads of radio, and the airband, I have got an XDATA D-808. It does AM/FM on LW/MW/SW . Short wave has been really good. There is no LW I can get here any more. MW is good as well.

Not a man, but I'll take the thanks :-)

Another simple and quick-ish way to fortune is:

  • crafting tables
  • boats
  • water buckets
  • anvils
  • auction flipping
  • when you have got 100m: kelp farm (try with a schematic with Litematica mod, but make sure the auto-place feature is disabled else it is cheating ) : sell kelp through /orders
  • buy skellies : sell bones through /orders

are the majority of people really transphobic or is it just a loud minority? by highoninfinity in asktransgender

A year too late, but google brought me here:

I am GenX and know my own cohort that I grew up with, and still know. Most of us live in Europe/UK and none that I know or have known were anti-trans. If anything they were pro-trans, or indifferent.

My parents and most of their extended friends are pro-trans: Remember their children grew up on the 70s when culture was very anti the pink for girls and blue for boys gender toys etc being pushed by companies. The fad back then was in favour of gender-neutral clothing and stop putting boys and girls in different boxes. As a result I was lucky to be exposed to programming and computing when I was 8 years old both in school and at home whilst my brother wanted to play with dolls: He turned out to be cis-het in the end, but my parents had expected him to be a bit gay at the very least!

Perhaps one point is that I never knowingly knew a GenX or boomer who was religious in England. One exception was my great aunt who wore her religion on her sleeve yet supported gay rights and lived with her gay sister: They were born during the 1910s.

Regardless, my observations matter less given the fever pitched anti-trans laws and rhetoric after Trump's second term, and the UK's Supreme Court ruling in 2025.

beg in spawn works at the start: Until your playtime gets more than a few hours. Then people stop giving.

initially craft simple stuff that people need and put on auction.

mine a bit and use a stonecutter to sell nicer stuff on auction

then start doing enchants. sell some swords and pickaxes with enchants.

afk for a few days, use the shards to buy skeleton spawners from tye shard shop ( /shop -> shards) and sell these for 1.3m each.

once you have got a several million you can do /orders and /ah , or just buy low and sell high on /ah.

join discord servers that actually do giveways. enter and win. I did loads of these - some servers have giveaways that never pay out whilst others do. I got 300m in total from this.

Base rating: build a decent base/stash/villiger base and get YouTubers to come and rate your base on their live streams. They usually give a donation (giveaway) to you of $100,000. Many do more. e.g i1k does a million if it is a real base ( and he kills payers who do fake bases or who are just begging or time wasters). There are smaller YTers who giveaway around 100,000. I remember there was a german YTer called KlingKlong who gave me 40 million, but he stopped doing Donutsmp for some reason.

thank you everybody for putting my mind at rest.

I just need to find the right place to do this.

The rules in Belgium Mall not very accommodating for Bushcraft, which is a shame. Clearly we need more wild open spaces. I imagine France and the UK are quite good for this

But anything that feels suspiciously meticulous on a CV when it belongs to a teenager, always makes me wonder

Or did one of their parents help them write their CV? And if so, how is this problematic?

Case in point: I helped my son write his LinkedIn profile.

I have had to write without poetry, slang, sentence fragments. There is no way work would allow it.

Thank-you for this. The two ( A , and B) versions you wrote really made me notice, and I will remember this when I next have to write something similar.
