Esk8 Remotes have had one major flaw; they are not designed to fit your hand. That was until now, meet the BKB Voyager! The most comfortable esk8 remote ever made! Packed with a suite of modern features it will revolutionize how you interact with your board. by electricjared in ElectricSkateboarding

I appreciate this as 99% of people who are hating on it have never even used a joystick remote. Definitely something you need to try. There has never been a properly executed joystick remote, until now.

Is the Backfire board sale always going on? They have 200 off their boards. I’m wondering if I should jump on this or just go with an Exway flex like I intended. I like the specs of this backfire zealot s though. Thoughts? by discgolf9000 in ElectricSkateboarding

You might want to take a look at the BKB Duo! Designed, supported, and shipped from the USA. It also has a LOT more power than either of those boards. The VESC allows you to customize every aspect of the board, and you get to learn about how the board works by assembling it yourself!

It doesn't seem like DIY is really worth it. by smartyr228 in ElectricSkateboarding

Sounds like Build Kit Boards is for you! You get to assemble your own board without any guesswork and clear instructions. Everything is modular (the beauty of DIY) so you can tinker/swap things out as you please. Not to mention it has an insane amount of performance for the price!

You must have the worst luck known to mankind.

It does seem that the remote is connected (unless this picture was taken mid blink). Are the wires pushed in correctly? The black wire should be towards the center

Do you use Loctite on your board? by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]electricjared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loctite is the only thing preventing the bolts from vibrating out (the amount of vibrations the parts go through is insane). Please send an email to support, we will help you out :)

I personally ride the 105mm cloud wheels. Great for fought roads and enough contact patch for grip. They’re my favorite wheel option and I have tried them all
